The word "kemoru" is an adaptation of the Shonai dialect word "kemokemo" (to mix), and was coined with the meaning of fusing the old and the modern. Sashiko(quilting) has been famous in the Shonai area for a long time, and we are creating works that fuse this traditional art with the modern world.
